I've known Chris for over 20 years. Contemplative by nature, Chris thinks before he speaks, is kind and generous in both words and actions. When he is relaxed and among friends, he is quick to smile and has an infectious laugh. Whilst you might not often get witty repartee with Chris, he's an honest, loyal and supportive friend.
He's a long-standing member of the village community in which we live. Chris enjoys spending time with my family and those of other friends, socialising and sharing with us his love of good food and fine wine.
A qualified engineer by profession, Chris works hard running his own business and is definitely solvent. He is practical - a real man who can - and is more than capable of managing all those household jobs. This is particularly useful in one of his pastimes, amateur dramatics, as Chris builds all the sets and is occasionally seen treading the boards.
He's an enthusiastic rugby supporter and a regular visitor to Twickenham. Another pleasure for Chris is skiing and he is sought after by family and friends as a ski companion.
Chris is passionate about contemporary and modern art and whilst he already has a truly fascinating collection, he still loves to visit galleries and read around the subject, to keep up with current trends. Chris also enjoys going to live music from time to time, but since I don't go with him, I'm not sure what, you'd have to ask him!
Chris's future partner is likely to be interested in the arts, sociable, loyal, honest and family-minded. Although he has no children of his own, he would like to consider himself a family man, should the right one come along, but this isn't a deal breaker.
