About her
My outlook is: be optimistic, enjoy life and follow your interests! In line with the last item on that list, I've had a complete career change recently & I'm now studying for a PhD in linguistics. Daunting but exciting! I love making the most of what London has to offer and enjoy going to exhibitions/galleries or meeting friends for drinks and dinner (or to go running...depending on the friend!). Another favourite thing to do is sing in my rather unconventional choir. It's really fun and I have made some fantastic friends there too.

My thoughtful, fascinating, pretty (yet, somehow, completely calm and grounded!) friend Heidi has allowed me to write her a msf profile. I am so happy she's agreed that I have been driven to writing an acrostic (last attempted aged 10). I do mean every one of those adjectives though - I have known Heidi for a number of years now and she really is someone who lives by the mantra that life is what you make it.
Heidi is a lady with many strings to her bag full of bows. After pursuing her passion for all things IT by working in that field for years, she bravely made the sideways leap into the world of linguistics. She recently completed a Masters in this, and is now embarking on a PhD in September. Her love of learning extends to learning about different places and cultures, and this prompted many previous travelling adventures across a whole host of countries, including Georgia, Azerbaijan and Timbuktu. When she is not learning, she can be found singing (in a non-classical, non-religious choir), running (including running in the "good gym" that combines charity work with exercise), doing Pilates, or, more recently, trying meditation. Friends are also absolutely central to her life. Heidi really is as fun, caring and as trustworthy as they come. As I said at the start, the man who does win her heart will be a very lucky man indeed. So let me give you one tip to help! Heidi is a warm people-person. I am 100% certain that she'd rather chat to you face-to-face than have a lengthy chat over some kind of screen (email/text etc). So, if you contact her, ask her out for a cup of coffee (or some other beverage!) pretty quickly. And then hope that this wonderful woman says yes!
