I met my mate Mat maybe thirteen odd years ago. We were working together in Australia and Mat had what most (not all) Australian men lack, a natural sense of humour and a most likable charm. After a gap of maybe three years (Mat had long returned to Blighty), I myself plucked up the courage to see the world, due to types like Mat, and ended here. we hadn't spoken for the three year gap, however, with him being the way he is he looked after me in a way I could not of expected, introducing me to all his amazing friends and way of life.
This man is a diamond in many ways I think I could not be. As much fun as he is (you'll have to trust me on this... loads), there is a gentle, caring and inspiring way about him. All of this in an understated manner.
My (now) wife and I adore him and love having him as part of our lives. We have often joked about our handsome, lovable, single friend who has many fall for the person that he is, however, he's looking for nothing less than fireworks and if your the one to set them off you couldn't be luckier.
