About him
When Alex got married in August 2015, he bestowed upon me the great honour of being his best man, along with the even greater challenge of adding a +1 to my invite. Alex was nearly as disappointed as me, when the best I could muster for his big day was an existing friend. Needless to say, upon the 15th time of explaining to my fellow guests that Joseph and I weren't romantically involved, I came to recognise the basic error in my choice of date!
Despite being 34 years old, I have only ever had one serious relationship, which, unfortunately for me, was with my old job. Having spent eight years working in the public sector in a role which had become increasingly all consuming, I made a break for it just over two years ago, headed back to university, and I am now working as a solicitor in South-East London.
I would love to meet someone with whom I could do all the day-to-day things that come with being in a relationship: spending weekends exploring new places, going for long walks in the countryside, visiting friends and family, eating out, going to the theatre / cinema, watching the rugby (hopefully!), enjoying the great outdoors and just generally being happy.
As Alex mentioned above, my friends and family are incredibly important to me and I really enjoy and value the time that I spend with them. Maintaining my favourite uncle position to my five nieces and three nephews is particularly important to me, and something that I love doing.

Ever since we met at university 13 years ago, Tom has been my best and truest friend. He has a rare mix of qualities that I think make him unique and I hope that after reading this, you will be intrigued to know more and maybe even decide to get in touch with him.
Tom has a quiet confidence that lets him truly be him self and makes him at ease in any situation. He can be both fun and serious, whether it's playing a game with his nephews and nieces or discussing current affairs at the dinner table. He is someone to depend on when times get tough but is also guaranteed to make you laugh. But, for me, it's his love for his friends and family, and his compassion and thoughtfulness towards others, that truly defines him.
Tom has always been up for an adventure, from expeditions in the Arctic to climbing mountains in Africa, and he never shy's away from trying new things, even if they don't always come naturally - after a memorable week's skiing he never did quite make it off the nursery slopes. And, while Tom is probably at his happiest when on long walks in the countryside with his dogs, when he goes to work he also cuts a dashing figure in his suit. According to the women in my life - of which my mum is his greatest fan - it's something about him being so tall, and his dark, dreamy eyes that do it.
