About him
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste..... wealth here being of a spiritual rather than of a material nature.
I spent 50 years in nursing, taking early retirement as a Senior Nurse Manager to become a Publican in a cask ale house.
My main motivations are music and humour, I am quite knowledgeable apropos most aspects of 20th century music and play several instruments.
Humour plays an integral part of my life.
I am a positive, half glass full individual, numerate literate and easy going. I live in an old stone cottage with my dog and a wood burning stove.
I like food, drink, cooking, guardian crossword and I have a bottle of beer with a couple of cigarettes daily. I dislike football, soap operas and reality TV.
My friends would describe me as a left of centre affable culture vulture who always tries to see the good in people and is able to meaningfully relate at all social levels.
