How come writing this is more challenging than a thesis?!
Well, I'm Rachel. Got a great job, lovely house, awesome family and friends but just missing that special someone to share adventures with. I work in sport which I love. But I am by no means a gym bunny. I generally like to keep fit and active with long walks and bike rides. And walking is never an option as I have a great dog who forces me out the door whatever the weather.
I've not really been looking for anyone over the past few years as I've been busy doing lots of exciting things like travelling, completing my MSc and volunteering at my local rowing club as a coach.
Ideal weekend would be a lazy start followed by a long walk (possibly heading to north Wales) then back home to get cosy and get ready to go out for a nice meal either with friends or with a special someone (you?)
I'm now at an age where I certainly have a life of my own, but sharing both the good and the bad times with someone else would make it even more special.

Having never met my ideal match, it's hard to describe them. Generally someone who is honest and I can trust. Someone who can be both silly and serious. Someone who has their own life as well and being in a relationship would be a nice addition as opposed to the be all and end all. Oh, and you must love dogs too. I have a very hairy golden retriever who is very much part of my life!
