About him
I would like to think that I'm a generous and open person who shows an interest in people and sees the good in them, is mindful and relaxed.
I like nothing more than seeking out new adventures,going to the movies,going for dinner and all that....but am just as happy making dinner and being open to new experiences.
I run and am taking part in the Brighton Marathon in April 2018 and not long ago took part in the Brighton half marathon. I am a member of Goodgym where we run to a destination and then help with a community project. It's not all activity though....I like nothing better than a relaxing brunch on a Saturday morning or lounging on the beach in Brighton. I love dogs and walk a friends regularly.
I think that life is to be enjoyed to the full...I'm not work obssessed and just want to be happy.
About his ideal match
Someone who loves to share lifes experiences with a like minded other and is not overly ambitious or money obssessed. They enjoy the arts and can cope with bad jokes and we could perhaps take part in park runs together although that's not essential.
I think it's important that we don't neccessarily have to hold similar views and can challenge each other....it's what makes for vigorous conversation.

Wow - what to say about the lovely David! That fact that he's been one of my closest friends since University nearly 35 years ago says a lot about what a special person I think he is! David is also an actively involved godfather to my 10 year old son.
David is chatty, approachable and easy to talk to. He is a good laugh and up for most things - over the years he's endured fairground rides, mystery adventures in search of random gigs and MANY rounds of crazy golf!
He's fiercely loyal and will always have your back. David is a kind soul who really looks after his friends and family, for example, I live overseas and David offered to travel some distance to help my elderly parents with their garden! If that doesn't melt your heart he also writes letters, stories and drawings to his godson.
David throws himself into new adventures and has lived and worked in New York and here in Cambodia. He's recently returned to running; with his eyes set on another full marathon this year! David is incredibly determined and passionate about what he choses to do!
I asked my son to describe him and he said "really, really fun and funny, not scared of appearing silly and very tall!" This sums him up but I'd also sprinkle on intelligent and sensitive!
