Jill is simply a fantastic person and great to have in your life. Music, theatre, art, culture, cinema - she has a diverse range of interests from mainstream to independent and likes going out to live events, so you will always have company if there is something you want to see, no matter how off the wall. She has been known to mainline a box set...and ask her about her penchant for certain Channel 5 documentaries...! She is the only person to have ever consistently beaten me at naming songs from the intro, particularly on 80s tunes. Jill is generous to a fault and bakes an excellent lemon drizzle cake. There's always good banter and you laugh a lot. You know you have made it into the inner circle when she refers to you with a nickname (but only to others, not to your face! Still not sure what mine is.....) But beware...she is a feeder and pusher of alcohol to make sure a good time is had by all. Many a night I have eaten and drunk too much with my plate/glass never allowed to get empty! If it's your round at the bar then a pint of cider and a bag of BBQ mini cheddars usually does the trick, or Prosecco if you're pushing the boat out. You won't find a finer person than Jill; she's easy company, kind, funny, steadfast, and one of my favourite people in the world. So be good to her or you'll have me to answer to!
