About him
I love music. Mostly listening to, dancing to it, hearing it live, hearing it recorded and sometimes playing it myself.. I tend towards electronic but more just like things that vary and surprise and move and make me want to move. I think discovering new music brightens a day. I believe in the art of the mix. I love how taking a walk with the right music changes the day. As a nerdy music lover who lives in Bristol I am obliged to DJ, sorry. I try not to do it too often, and mostly it's just for all my friends.
I love stories; being told and telling them both in person or the many many ways people write and tell stories. With that one it tends to be through books, television, cinema, on stage or in a wrestling ring :) I tend to prefer things that feel personal, unique, a bit scrappy and from perspectives I don't have but am always open to new mediums and stories...
I love cooking (and eating!) particularly discovering new recipes. I believe you can explore the world from your plate. I believe every time we eat it should bring us joy in some form; enjoying the familiar, discovering the new, creating something of our own. Oh I can't stand fish, sorry.
I love words and probably use too many. I suppose that the meaning of life may be found if we just keep asking each other enough questions. Constantly aiming for the perfect phrase, it's possible my brain was poisoned by writers writing characters that are far too errudite and eloquent to be real (curse you Jesse and Celine). Sometimes the thoughts all come out a bit haphazard. People don't seem to mind.
I love my flat either when I'm curled up and cosy or when it's filled with friends, music and laughter.
I'm not very good at sitting still.
I think finding the awesome in the every day is wonderful and might be the key to being better humans. I think creating in the every day is good for the soul. I think I'm an introverted extrovert, or maybe an extroverted introvert. I think too much.

I'm not sure we know what our ideal matches are? I don't think it's a matter of liking the exact same things? Maybe people who approach stuff in the same way as each other? Someone who enjoys sharing their favourite things and wants to discover new ones together? Or maybe just aiming to find someone who isn't put off by a person who refuses to give a straight answer and turns everything into a conversation?
