About him
I think people would describe me as a good friend, caring and kind. But also someone who likes having fun and to do interesting things.I think I may be an extrovert introvert, someone who their own space but who also likes to be in the thick of it as well, at times.
I love music, I sing in a covers band, and have just done some gigs with a band playing my songs which is great.
I love comedy and film, and take an interest in politics and the news. Trump...
I'm not really into watching sport - surely a good thing :-) - or gaming so that's all good.
Being one of seven children, family is important to me and I love being an uncle to eleven nephews and nieces. Be great to have kids too.
About his ideal match
I think it's all about having connection with someone.
My ideal partner would be someone who is confident but not overly confident, caring, compassionate but also fun and knows what they want. And to have a bit of a spark about them. Much like me :-)
I like to be the man in the relationship but also want to it be an equal partnership of love and friendship and fun and adventure and positivity. I couldn't deal with someone overbearing/high maintenance at all.
I also think I know what I don't want, I'd rather spend time with someone who has an interest in 'important' things and not Kim Kardashian.

Andy is such a great character. Loads of fun to be around and loves a night out but at the same time he is intelligent and genuine with varied interests. (Btw, worth mentioning up front, he's not a massive fan of sport so that must be a good start!).
Andy's first love is music. Working in London in media for over 25 years, he has all the while kept up his passion for writing, recording and performing and has been in some great bands over the years as lead vocalist and (sometimes) guitarist.
His music taste is quite varied but I would say mostly pop with some indie thrown in (think Blur, Killers, Depeche Mode and New Order but I know he really likes modern dance music too).
I think he still harbours a dream to write a hit song and why not? - to be fair he was best friends at school with the guy that wrote the Spice girls hit 'Wannabe' so he has kept some good company!
What else can I say about Andy? Well, he is really sincere, a good listener and a very caring person. He is not the alpha male type but a really thoughtful person who will always be there for you when you need him and the type to put others first before his own interests. In short - a really decent human being! And lots of fun too.
Andy is settled, has a home and a career and is now definitely looking for someone special to have a long-term relationship with. He's never been married and has no children. I hope he meets someone cool and as nice as him because, in my humble opinion, he definitely deserves to meet someone special.
