People are fascinating and wonderous in their variety so I enjoy engaging with them and listening to their stories; this leads to the past so history and buildings of all sorts interest me as does the countryside, and exploring undiscovered (to me) parts of our country and abroad. Art and music are a must although I've no talent in either and anything to do with wood has me hooked. I enjoy gardening and canoeing - not at the same time! - but that does seems to stand still when you're on the water. I love life. Sometimes it's a B but mostly it's great and FUN and you've just got to laugh at the absurdity of it all!!

Someone with a sense of the ridiculous as well as a sense of humour. Similar interests would be good but I suppose not essential if our personalities gelled. I really appreciate good manners( I'm not really a feminist, ) and someone who thinks quality of life is more important than money and who's also got integrity and honesty would be amazing.
