About her
I think my family, friends and clients would say I am fun to be with, supportive and caring. I am also very content with my own company and a night in with a good book or the tv. I love my home and my garden although I'm not a perfectionist and not a great gardener. I like craft activities and trying new things. I enjoy travelling - alone or with friends. I try to get to the gym whenever I have a space in the diary - and keep an eye on my figure. But I still work although it is very much part-time now. I closed the consultancy my husband and I owned last year, but continue to work with some key clients. I always liked entertaining - but now I am on my own I don't get around to it as often. I have tried to take an interest in sport - Wimbledon is about all I really manage, but I do enjoy live sporting events . Theatre and travel are periodically treats. I generally have a positive attitude and try to make the most of every opportunity that presents itself.
About her ideal match
I'm looking for Someone to talk with that will share their thought and plans as well as listen to mine. My house is regularly invaded by friends and family, and I have a strong friendship group - so meeting someone who is relaxed in company is important. But spending time one to one is obviously important in getting to know someone.
I would hope that with the right person our relationship would progress. But after one long and happy marriage I am looking to take 'baby steps' and am open-minded about how any relationship might progress.

Paula has been my friend for 36 years - a very great friend! She is very creative and seems to be able to turn her hand to anything and always has some craft project on the go. She's a great cook and hosts excellent dinner parties and especially New Year's parties on her birthday! She is kind, supportive and a good listener and she has got me through some not-so-great times in my life. She has a seemingly endless supply of funny stories and I just love spending time with her.
