About her
I'm a London born town mouse that discovered later in life that I'm actually more of a country mouse. Now my home is in the chestnut forests of northern Tuscany. I'm an extrovert with introvert tendencies; I enjoy good company but recharge when I'm alone. I'm independent, loyal, reliable, kind and funny (well that's what they said when I asked my friends). I have an adventurous spirit. I like socialising with my friends and family. I enjoy occasional trips to the theatre, including musical theatre and movies, music, eating and drinking and hiking. My dog, Mr Darcy and I are inseparable and enjoy hikes together in the mountains near my home. I've joined a local choir for fun although I can't sing. I have a positive outlook on life and I try to surround myself with can-do people. I'm intolerant of intolerant people, can't abide racists or bullies.
About her ideal match
I'm looking for someone to enjoy the walks and movies with. Perhaps we would cook meals together and also, perhaps take the occasional city break. I need a partner who is independent, reliable, attentive, generous and kind but still manages to give me my space. We wouldn't need to spend every minute in each other's pockets although we would make the effort to arrange regular quality time together. I do like a capable guy who can make and fix stuff - a handy man as I live in a renovated farmhouse but there's still much that can be done. A good sense of humour and the ability to hold an intelligent conversation are important. Call me shallow but my man needs to be easy on the eye a bit George Clooney meets Bear Grylls meets Gino d'Campo. This guy needs to be positive and tolerant, sociable and ideally able to speak English and Italian. If he voted for Brexit that would be an absolute deal breakers! I'd really prefer a none smoker.
