About her
My friends tell me that I am loyal and honest, with a spark that shines brightly. I have been on my own for a good long time whilst I brought up my children and moved away from the family home. Now settled and discovering my life again, I find I’m not a sports enthusiast or a personal trainer type of girl but a more relaxed good food and a film type.
I have travelled to Rome, Naples, Venice, Crete, Versailles, the Loire, and Florida To name a few but I would love to drive around Europe and the USA, stopping at small villages or towns to get Fresh bread and jam for breakfast. (Unfortunately this now has to be gluten free!)
I have many varied interests from History, education, cats, travelling , caravanning, sewing, theatre, scrabble, reading, cooking, gardening, and swimming.
I have very close relationships with my family - especially my son, his partner and their baby and I also have 2 daughters who are grown up and live away. I have a very busy and full life but would enjoy sharing time with someone with some of the same interests and hobbies.

My ideal match would be well educated, have a full head of hair, his own teeth to smile with and be taller than me.
He should be family oriented so we can share our life with the people we love to be with. He should be a gentleman with a love of history and want to explore new places and ideas.
As a well educated man he can hold a conversation that doesn’t include too much politics - although socially aware- or football! A liking for cosy nights in front of a campfire with a good book and a glass of something to warm us would go down well too.
