About him
I'm a loving individual. I am already very happy with an 18 year old daughter who I see at alternate weekends and is at weekly boarding school. I have a dog who lives with me. I know that I have so much more love to give and am looking for good friendship or a lasting relationship. I'm sociable and can cook. I am a home maker and enjoy my garden and open fires in winter. Dining out is great at the right place. I enjoy cooking, which I gather as a man is unusual, feel free to take over though.
I like good wine, not just for the alcohol content. I enjoy the things London has to offer like shops, museums, galleries, theatre etc. But now as I live in West Dorset I appreciate even more.
Clothes interest me but I’m quite casual. Shopping for things, I do this for work so I keep it to a minimum personally.
I read quite a lot, Hilary Mantel trilogy and period detective novels recently by CJ Sansom.
I’ve picked up locally published country living books and Keith Waterhouse SoHo. Interested in country life and pursuits. I’ve adapted my interests to my environment.
I’m sociable and enjoy a party, some dancing has been known.
I have many friends and two sisters I see. But if the right person came along I’d want to spend time with them, but not just to myself. Better to message and ask questions or meet up. It’s how one normally gets to know someone really.

I am looking for a soul mate, I want to feel attracted to you and to know that you can empathise with me as I will with you. I believe in life long relationships and am willing to put in the time to build something really special. I hope to share walking, cultural activities, eating out, cooking, gardening, tennis, antique shopping and travel, having a good time and just hanging out watching TV. Obviously that’s all the nice things, so normal day to day work etc has to work out as well.
I’m quite easy going and don’t get tense if things go wrong, life’s too short. I like someone to be well presented when required I suppose but would never demand it. I’m into style and a bit of polish if comfortable. Being a designer I appreciate appearance and you’ll always get a compliment. I like open people who can, after a while talk about feelings, I hate having to second guess. A bit of mystery is alright though. I’m not into treat them mean to keep them keen.
I like strong women but will take charge when required or entirely if preferred. Good conversation and Inteligence is important but highbrow conversation all time is too tiring.
A good witty sense of humour is important. I do get bored of sarcasm though, cheap jokes.
It’s a chemical and star sign thing to a degree and works or it doesn’t. Silent dinners are no fun for either person. Doing a super market shop is a good test, once you’ve got know one another a bit. Patience is important in someone but don’t be a pushover. No side seat driving please.
