About him
Short version: I'm a foodie (former chef) and travel lover who also likes running, WWII history, F1, red wine and cheese (man, I love cheese!!).
Longer version: I grew up in Germany, spent most of my teens in Buckinghamshire and have ended up in Yorkshire (where a lot of my family live). Despite spending most of my working life in kitchens I'm a laid back guy who I loves to laugh. No Gordon Ramseys here! I like to be out and about, running, walking, Geocaching, or simply exploring. I'm quite a private person, a bit old fashioned and traditional so online dating is out of my comfort zone. Yet here I am, feeling very weird about putting my life "out there" for all to see. But if I get to meet the right lady then it will all be worth it.

I'm looking for a fellow foodie who likes to travel. I want to see the world and I'd like to meet someone to share it with. Someone with a great sense of humour too please.
Ultimately I'd like to find someone to settle down with and possibly have a family... and a cat... but there's no rush. There's a world to explore first! Anything else you wish to find out about me, message me and ask. That's why we're here..... right??

Pete is very quick-witted and has a wicked sense of humour (if you don't like sarcasm then you're not a match as it's his second language!). He's mad about travelling the world and will go anywhere he hasn't been before, especially places renowned for good food. Although he doesn't work in kitchens any more, once a chef, always a chef. He's always wanted to settle down and have children but being a head chef meant he worked very long and anti-social hours. I'm glad he's finally changed careers so he can find someone to share his life with. He's very active; he loves to run and play golf (badly!). His bad points? He can be pretty blunt if he doesn't like something, he definitely runs on coffee, and he's his own worst critic, especially about his looks. Best bits? His heart. He is one of the kindest people I know and will go to the ends of the earth for his friends and family. If you know Pete, you love Pete.
