Hello. I am 41 years old and originally from Asia. I have been in Canada for over 20 years. I currently work as a cashier. I would describe myself as shy, quiet, and reserved upon first meeting someone. However, deep down I long for a meaningful, deep connection. I am generally a happy person and I like to make people feel relaxed when they are with me. I want people to have an enjoyable time when with me.
In my spare time, I really enjoy reading a wide range of subjects, so as to improve my English. This might feel like work to some people but to me it's a very enjoyable activity. I also enjoy participating in online forums, talking about things that interest me, like astrology (lame, I know), and occasionally politics. I feel that this (the latter) is a good way to stimulate my mind and to learn about perspectives that are very different from my own.

If my partner is truly a good person, I am willing to overlook a lot of things, like physical shortcomings or lack of accomplishments.
