About her
I once spent a week on an island in Africa with no running water or electricity surrounded by chimpanzees. Some of my friends and colleagues thought I wouldn't last the week because they only knew me as the person that enjoyed my all inclusive Caribbean Holidays. Others were pleased to see that the real me was making a comeback. Then there was the time that I jumped out of an airplane and people sponsored me quickly because they know I struggle to walk up a mountain without getting dizzy.
Friends tell me that I am kind and considerate but that I don't suffer fools gladly. They also say that I like to talk a lot - it's true. Some even say that that I have a tendency to interrupt - also true but if I am interrupting then it means that I am fully engaged (ok a bit too excitable) in what you are saying and keen to keep the conversation flowing. They also know that, when I need to, I can just sit quietly and listen - no advice, no judgement just a space to work things out.
If you don't love dogs then you would probably not enjoy my company. When I am not with my own dog I am talking to every dog that I come across. Oh, then there are the squirrels that I feed and I have been known to wade into rivers to rescue sheep.
