About her
After working in the NHS for 30 years, I set up my own business 10 years ago and am now looking forward to retirement with great excitement and anticipation.
I am an independent, outgoing, kind and happy person with a good sense of humour and who has great family and friends. I am an empath and dislike injustice and prejudice and have a strong sense of what is right.
My main hobbies are crafting (mixed media, textiles, scrapbooking), dancing (Ceroc / Salsa) and perusing antique shops, auctions and car boots for that hidden treasure in no particular order.
I enjoy jigsaws, board games and playing chess, although I consider myself a novice.
Music makes me happy especially live music. I enjoy a pub quiz and the cinema. I am an avid reader of crime or mystery fiction and have recently joined a book club.
My weekly yoga / pilates class is a great way to build and maintain core strength. The best part is the relaxation at the end, lying there feeling accomplished.
I dance Ceroc and started Salsa dancing three years ago which is fun. I would love a regular dance partner but this is no deal breaker.
Living by the Cannock Chase is fantastic with lovely walks right on my doorstep. I have a friendly, crazy dog who is more cocker than poo 🤣 She is has a lovable character, an insatiable appetite and loves to chase a ball.
Back in the day, I loved to ski but feel now I maybe a little apprehensive tackling those black runs as don't think my knees could take it. Nowadays, I enjoy travel abroad and in the UK and have a bucket list of places yet to visit which include castles and cathedrals.
I enjoy travel both abroad and at home in the UK. I have wonderful memories of two fly drive holidays in the US which included New Orleons, Arizona and California. I have sailed down the Martha Brai river and spent the night in Negril Jamaica in a grass hut watching the most beautiful sunsets. I have visited Florence, Venice and Rome, never tiring of Italy for the art and culture not to mention the food and fine wines.

Meeting that special gent who could be the yin to my yang would be the cherry on the cake for me.
He would be confident in himself and have a positive "can do" disposition, kind, fun to be with and comfortable in his own skin.
He would be someone who shares my beliefs and values. He would have hobbies of his own and we would have shared interests to enjoy together.
My ideal match would be kind, have a great sense of humour, dependable, trustworthy and have an energy and intellect to match my own.
I am not looking a for a Knight in shining armour to save me but someone I can trust, love and who makes me feel safe.
