About him
Hi and welcome to my waffle.
I don’t enjoy trying to describe myself (does anyone??) but here goes…
Currently bleary-eyed having spent far too long thinking of what to write. I hope my friends would describe me as a decent sort, and with a good sense of humour; a bit dry, a bit irreverent and a bit self-deprecating. I am caring and considerate, try to keep myself reasonably fit, am up for adventure and travel and looking for someone to create memories with. Often horrified at the state of the world around us, but trying to remain optimistic.
Things I Like
• The clocks going forward
• Laughing (either at myself or at/with other people. My favourite comedian is probably Daniel Kitson and if you know who he is we're probably well on the way to being friends already. Unless you hate him, in which case let’s see…)
• Music (discovering, listening to, watching live)
• Getting out in to nature, preferably under the sea (I love to scuba dive) but on land is grand too. I am also a keen rambler (some might say in both the verbal and walking sense)
• Good food and good wine, although even bad food and bad wine can work with the right company
Pet Peeves
• The clocks going back (although I appreciate I can’t enjoy clocks going forward if they don’t go back…)
• Vacuuming (I do it, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it)
• Litterbugs
• Middle-lane hogs/drivers who don’t indicate at roundabouts
• “Would of”
• Bigotry

About his ideal match
Someone to laugh along at life with, who is easy-going, gregarious and kind-hearted. A lover of nature and the outdoors who is equally at home snuggling in front of the TV with a favourite box set and who knows, maybe even a bottle of wine. If I could meet someone who also enjoys seeking out new music, that would be the icing on the cake so to speak. Oh, and who can also cope with my vegetarian ways (I think I am a reasonable cook but I am not looking to convert anyone!).
