My friends see me as an easy going, cheerful and kind guy who likes meeting up in pubs for a chinwag and a laugh but not into discos and nightclubs.
I'm a train driver for my job, which I really enjoy. At the moment I live alone in my own house - where I enjoy cooking, doing my own version of recipes which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't :) I could do with someone to moderate my use of chilli ;)
I enjoy keeping fit and go to the gym a few times a week. This helps keep me in shape for my hobby as I race cars at tracks around the UK with my dad as my mechanic, although we have a few arguments, we get on well and I have a close relationship with my family. I'm fairly competitive, but not daft about it.
I help out at a food bank in my spare time as I care about people who are less fortunate than me and want to do my bit to help.
I like meeting new people and will talk to just about anyone, I don't like people who are arrogant or full of themselves. I'd like to find someone to share my time (hopefully my life) with.

I don't really have an ideal match. If you are generally nice towards others and compassionate then we'll get on well ;) Ideally you'd share some similar interests but also have a few different interests too. If you're good at DIY that'd be a bonus, as I'm absolutely shocking, I'm just happy if I can put an IKEA desk together right ;)
