I’m a fun loving and young at heart, looking for an equally kind and committed lady to share my love of sailing and life generally.
Friends say I'm an intelligent, generous, funny, warm, considerate & caring man, a 'lovely bloke' who has managed ageing magnificently!
I am physically fit and enjoy walking & leading walks along our local coasts and moorland, visiting Heritage & NT properties, as well as sailing, cruising in company and meeting friends.
I'm a safe, calm and very experienced helm of a fast 11 m Swedish yacht and I’m looking forward to getting back to extended cruising of Brittany, the SW UK coast and SW Ireland.
I have lots of interests including playing music – I used to play sax in a band- and I've recently joined an 'a Capella' singing group.
I’m the Cruising Secretary and a Board member of a local sailing club; I've written a sailing guide to local waters.
I have two grown up married sons and two grandchildren.
I live close by the marina where the boat is berthed and I'd love to welcome you onboard.
