About him
5 years ago I lost my wife of 50 years to cancer. I have a simply great family and a long list of friends. I mostly seek a like minded female who shares my passion for what remains of my life and I still have THE spark to keep riding the horse. Life in my world will never be boring. Life is too precious. But I have a large tribe to consider including 11 grandchildren who remember nanny with love and whose feelings I could never threaten. But somehow there might be a path to enjoy the coming years with the company of someone who shares my goals and who also wants more than anything to simply enjoy life. With total respect to those that came before.
I hope what follows raises a smile with you. Yes now aged 76 (bday Aug!) - but - in my body I am a slightly younger 60ish - in my head still a "live today like it was your last" 35 year old. Talking about body-wise, I am 5'9" and weigh 13.5st - which is 1st heavier than when I got married aged 20 a long time ago. I am on a personal mission to get back to my "fighting weight" of 12.5st and I should hit that goal this summer. WHY ? For no other reason that I want to stay fit for purpose :)

What’s on the inside is far more important than what’s on the outside. When I see a good heart I will know it quickly. Call me old fashioned but I am from the Beatles Stones and Fleetwood Mac era so I am sadly a romantic and I expect to behave like a gentleman and hopefully to find someone who behaves like a lady - but a lady who laughs out loud.
