About him
Reasonably educated and travelled man, slow travelling the world. Retired school teacher at home in the town or country, looking at beautiful sites, old buildings, eating local specialties, whether a Bakewell pudding or Nasi goreng. I enjoy cooking (I do a mean sourdough), jigsaw puzzles, loud music, theatre, reading, R4. Definitely not golf!
In a previous life I was a builder so I’m reasonably handy if you need a wall built.
I love events; I’ve danced in the New Year at the Pump room in Bath, been mesmerised by Aida in the amphitheatre in Verona, celebrated as England beat Australia in the last test at the Oval. So many more things to do and it would be fabulous to do them with a passionate woman.
One day I plan to settle down with a small dog and a cuddly cat, but until then?
