My friends would describe me as fun, dependable, honest, intelligent, articulate, forgetful, a reasonable cook ----, lousy at house work and gardening, good at DIY. In brief my first career was as an Officer in the Royal Engineers. On retiring from the Army I started my own engineering company and on selling that I became a Truffle Farmer, my late wife's passion. I have since retired from that and am learning to play Golf and Bridge and not being a slave to a property. I have a loving 4 pawed companion, Ellie, my Spaniel. Love having fun going to;- the theatre, motoring experience days, nice restaurants, outdoor events, warm climates in winter. New challenges excite me and I don't give up easily but it is so much more fun and rewarding doing these things as a couple.
