I want to be really honest. I lost my partner a while back and i'm a bit shell shocked and shy about meeting somebody and re-building at 62.
I'm no athlete & I smoke (never in the house) & go to the pub about once a week & sink a few Guinness and join in the pub humor. I'm overweight but just lost 1.5 st in 12 wks so hope to keep that going.
I want to be there for someone and meet someone to be there for me. I guess a sole m8.
I'm honest & faithful... I live in a village in country-ish location with large garden.. but I'm not green fingered i'm afraid :-(. I would like to stay here & hope to find someone who would like to take on the garden and enjoy it.
I play piano and other instruments.. i'm quite musical but not big on listening to CD's etc.. for some reason, I guess I like to play or see live bands more...I go to a few folk festivals every year taking the camper-van that I am building myself. I'm OK with stuff like that, DIY etc.
I started my own business in mechanical pipework design years back and it will not make me rich but I'm well off and mortgage is paid etc... I plan to retire in a few years... maybe spend some time in the camper and do more music festivals... I have not done much holiday abroad in my time i'm afraid, my partner was never interested and i'm too white to be a sun seeker LOL, but I would not mind a few trips as long as we get to visit ruins, or aquariums, maybe theater, NASA space center (always wanted to see that)... i cant seem to get into sitting by a pool for more than an hour or so...
I would say my humor is based on sarcasm, I think it comes from being a Brummy.. we tend to take the mick out of each other.
So I guess i'm not very exciting but i'm told i'm a great guy and a good laugh etc. you would have to make your mind up about that, but to be clear I won't jump out of an airplane or bungee jump, simply don't get the attraction... but I know how to have fun so don't worry... :-)
