I don't think that I'm ready to be an adult yet!
I'm nearly always in Tesco jeans, a comfy shirt with frayed collar and cuffs and an old RNLI navy sweatshirt.
My ideal day, away on a boat, includes a long walk exploring the area, a cold beer out in the cockpit around 1800, a good meal with a glass or two of wine and then at 2200 a stiff whisky out in the cockpit looking at the stars.
This probably explains why I am on the chubby side of being thin!
Most ladies would be horrified with my home... whilst it is in a lovely spot overlooking the sea and river, It is in a state of total chaos.. I am a hoarder; never throw anything out that may come in useful in a few years time and work on a 'last in first out' storage/filing system. There wasn't a box for that on the questionnaire!
I need to get out more! Hate politics, love science and Sky Discovery channel. Listen to the blues in the bath every night and play Sudoko sat on the loo.
I enjoy 'The Big Bang Theory', Suits and The Equalizer. Like romantic comedies. Watch a film most nights. Do not understand why peeps spend so much time on their phones when out with friends.
Don't understand why people have tattoos or wear hats indoors. Don't understand why girls need long fingernails or false eyelashes.
Love challenges but no use at quizzes... can be handy around the house.: quite practical; will have a go at most things. Would rather buy a tool for a job than pay a tradesman to do it.
I'm quite a logical, analytical, thinker, not very good at starting projects even worse at tidying up afterwards. Hoping for a box of 'round toits' for Christmas.
Cats and dogs seem to like me.
My current social life mainly revolves around boating. I have sailed since the seventies, around the East Coast with many trips over to Belgium and the Netherlands. Also a couple of long trips across to France and down the Brttany coast. Loved every second of it.
I have not worn a tie since 2000 and have a Hull accent. Never filled anything like this before... does it show?

Please don't be put off by my having fish and reptiles as pets. I have (very) small pond with goldfish and frogs.
I don't believe that, at our age, it is possible for people to change much... so I'm looking for someone prepared to lower her standards 'just a little' to take me on and hopefully sort me out 'just a little'
