About him
I'd like to meet someone who is positive and young at heart. I'm not dogmatic by nature, so I won't suggest any more criteria, because the partners in my life have been so different from each other. Most of them didn't fit the model of what I would have said was "my ideal woman", had I been asked at the time.
Just to take appearance as an example: for years I would have said (to my male friends, anyway) that I preferred very slim blonde women - and I was married to one for nearly fifteen years, from whom I'm now very amicably divorced - but I've also had close relationships with women who were neither of those things. It took me a few years (I'm a man, after all) to realise that chemistry is very hard to predict.
Most people think that shared interests are essential; sure, they help a lot, but I believe that shared values are even more crucial. As to what (if anything) that means to you or to me, why don't we meet and chat about it over a drink?

Mike's a great guy and always fun to be with whether it's listening to live music, which he loves, (he's also a good singer by the way) or relaxing over drinks with friends. He can tell a good story and has a great sense of gentle humour.
He's very positive and enthusiastic about life and everything he does. When you're with him he's genuinely interested in what you say and listens! (As most women know, this is quite unusual for a man - Tricia wrote that bit!). He's a loving father to his 2 grown-up girls and it's easy to see they enjoy spending time with him.
Mike is very easy to get along with and is very sociable, warm-hearted, open and generous - in fact just the sort of person to share good (and bad) times with.
