Clem has been known to give Sarah Beeney a run for her money in the past, Clem is good at "joining dots" as he calls it. I don't think there is a single person in our group of friends who hasn't at some point in time been 'touched' by him, whether it be the 'there's somebody you REALLY need to meet' email to cheer up your day or just because he is usually the only one brave and charming enough to walk across the dance floor at 2am to ask for the number of girl you've been dancing with all night.

Clem's selfless attitude in trying to set people up, mostly to his own detriment, means it's time his friends repaid the favour in the only way we know how. Hence Ladies and Gentlemen (well actually just Ladies) may I present 'Le Pimp'. Erhm, I'm sorry, I mean Clem! (I'll let him tell the story about he got the other name).

Having know Clem for a while, the man I present today, has to be one of the most entertaining, funny (if a bit sarcastic), loyal, charming, well dressed and ambitious gentlemen you could meet.

Many of us have called upon Clem's encyclopedic knowledge of 'great little places' in London on many successful occasions. I don't think there is a square foot of London from where Clem doesn't know the directions to the nearest undiscovered wine bar, quirky and stylish shop or boutique restaurant.

When not out, Clem's next passion has to be cooking, in fact as a vegetarian I have been known to accuse him of sneaking meat into my meals because they taste so good! His other passion is travelling (yes, I know everyone says that on here) and with a list of places visited that would put Palin, Merton, Cook to shame, describing Clem as well travelled is certainly an understatement. However, I think he would agree that a couple of his highlights would have to be walking the line at Kumamoto, last summer's safari trip to Kenya and the near death experience of canyoning in Slovenia.

Clem's "type" (lets face it, everyone has a type) has got to be somebody who has a bit of spark and enjoys spontaneity, loves exploring cities, likes intelligent conversation and whose idea of a good evening is one where the quality of the company is more important than 'being seen' and above all somebody who knows a good shoe when she sees one!
