About her
Profession: pianist
I'm an independent, outgoing person with a positive outlook on life. I have numerous interests amongst which are reading, going to the theatre, opera and classical music concerts. I also like jazz and love dancing, particularly salsa. I take weekly Ballroom and Latin American dance lessons and belong to a bookclub. The most recent book I read is the Blind Owl by Sadeq Hedayat, a bizarre story of love and death in the opium induced mind of a crazed and depressed man. Very unusual, written in an expressionist style and memorable. I also enjoy travelling and have done a fair share of this pre pandemic. I have many friends and like spending time with them. However, I am equally happy in my own company and find interesting ways of occupying myself. In addition to teaching piano I also give occasional solo recitals. I'm currently engrossed in Beethoven's Tempest sonata. I hope this sums me up. Do drop me a line if you like what you have read.

Someone who's comfortable in their own skin, easy going, fun, adventurous, educated, erudite, into the arts, literature and culture. Being able to dance would be an added bonus though not a prerequisite. Someone who's warm and loving and generous, not with their money but with their time and affection.

Sophia is one of the most exotic and beautifully elegant people I know, and it helps that her legs go on for miles. On the inside she is just as beautiful and is funny, warm and loyal and a wonderful person to know.
Sophia is a creative type at heart, and is a pianist and has now found the joys of passing on her talents to her students, as a private piano teacher and also working in local schools. Just watching her play is quite entrancing and if you can't persuade her to give you a private show then you can catch her playing at an occasional concert.
You can usually find her at the theatre or at an art gallery, but she is just as relaxed at home with a good DVD. By night she becomes a wonderful dancer, and she shows her flare for rhythm in moving her hips, especially to Latin American music, and this is where her Russian side comes out, her passion oozing from her soul.
Sophia loves to travel the world, exploring new places, finding new adventures and delving in to different cultures, even if she can't speak the language.
Come and get to know her over a good G&T and you will succumb to her gorgeous accent and her warmth.
