Mark has been a good friend for more than 10 years. At parties he is chatty and sociable and loves a heated debate. As a friend he is generous with his time and happy to share his practical skills and I am still eternally grateful for the time he managed to get into my house when I'd lost my keys and for fixing my dying bike. Looks-wise he is tall, athletic and good-looking in a kind of scruffy, not-that-bothered, sort of way. Relationship-wise he appears to be straightforward and caring and he's a really good dad to his girls. He tries to act cool sometimes but when you see how soft he is with children and dogs you know there's a warm heart in there.
He recently lived in our house for a few weeks and I can honestly report that he is house-trained! Unlike other male visitors we have had, he didn't expect me to do his washing or pick up after him. He also makes a mean Ceasar salad. His only sin was to beat me at University challenge in my own home - too clever by half but useful if you need a ringer for the pub quiz team.
In conclusion, I would say that if you are a potential WAG looking for an Armani-clad, champagne swilling, night-clubbing football fan, don't pick Mark. If, on the other hand, you could get on with a tall, sporty, intelligent, down-to-earth guy - he may be your man!
