I am very open and optimistic, as well as independent, supportive, honest, social, and always open to learning. I enjoy interactive performances (such as Secret Cinema) as a change from everyday life. (Examples of some event costumes in photos.)
For activities, outdoors is usually preferred: walking, playing tennis (a bit rusty though), photography, and spending time in the garden when the weather isn't being diabolical. I've become a creative cook to work around a food allergy without compromising on flavour.
I enjoy a variety of music and films, but I'm not into headphones except on long solo train/plane journeys. There's a time for quiet, and also a time for dancing around the kitchen to an eclectic playlist whilst making dinner. (To anything from Dire Straits to Armin van Buuren and Lizzo... or for real variety some Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.) Bonus points if you are familiar with, or look up, the last band listed.
Recovering workaholic - I still get done what needs doing, but now setting healthier boundaries.
I've done a lot of travel for work and for fun, and would enjoy comparing notes and discovering new places.... perhaps over a great bottle of red?
