So girls... you've read through soooo many profiles that after 2000 words you are still none the wiser. Having been in the same boat sisters, I will do my best for you.

Let's get to it - I've known Matthew for about 2 years now. Initially, I met him through work but we've become friends.

He's a thinker - He will always think things through before doing them, but he's adventurous too and will happily try new things. When he sets his mind on doing something, there's no stopping him. He's just finished a cookery course after deciding that he wanted to extend his cooking repertoire (I've sampled many of the results... a banquet awaits).

He's shy - He doesn't want to be the centre of attention in a group but don't let that fool you. He has been known to quite happily salsa dance across crowded restaurants. He has a daring side and he is liberal and open-minded (and open to suggestions).

He's intellectual - He's very well read (he goes to a book club), has a wicked sense of humour (he writes some very witty pieces) and likes to chew the fat. Matthew might be quietly listening but if you tickle his funnybone, he'll let out a very infectious chuckle. I hear it a lot.

In short girls, Matthew is full of surprises and contradictions; just when I think I have him sussed, he pulls something out of the bag. He is constantly learning, trying new things and always curious about the world around him. You should be curious too and looking for a gentle soul to face the big exciting world out there with.

Expect long walks, new places and lots of laughs... Come on girls, give him something to think about!
