Thanks for dropping by :-) .... I'm positive, some might say intelligent, active, sociable, good listener, reasonable talker. adventurous, enjoy a challenge (not relationship wise, that is absolutely NOT what relationships are for. So if you or your friends describe you as "high maintenance", we definitely won't get on)...
I ski, snowboard, am a competitive skydiver, and enjoy Salsa. I am travelling more lately & consider it a basic courtesyrespect to learn the basics of the language of any country I visit. I can say "essential phrases" such as; Hello, 2 beers/wine please, you're beautiful, I love you, how much (those 3 phrases are unrelated), goodbye, thank you, and where's the toilet, in several languages.
I would like try/improve/learn to:- (more of) more languages, to kite-surf better, surf, cook(maybe), ski/snowboard/travel more (preferably with somebody special)

Intelligent, active (you don't have to be a competitive athlete, but couch potatoes would not keep up with/suit an active lifestyle), communicative (I'm reasonably intuitive/perceptive, but I am not a mind reader, if something is bothering you, say so), open to try new things, adventurous, emotionally intelligent(see "communicative"), considerate, passionate (about something, excite/inspire me with your stories of what excites/inspires you)

Derek is one of the most thoughtful, romantic and caring men that I know. If you're looking for someone who is very keen on sensing your needs intellectually, emotionally and physically, then he's your guy. He's extremely witty and has a razor sharp mind about him.
