So, I met Tam on the second day of University, which means we must have known each other for about 14 years now, during which I lived with her for a year and will always be indebted as I met my wife through her as well, so if nothing else she keeps good company!

Despite an auspicious early start as a child model (albeit for a butter company), Tamsin chose to shun her star turn in favour of staying grounded and having close friends around her, which says as much about her attitude and priorities as anything else.

A very beautiful, caring and honest woman; she'll say it like she sees it and has a razor wit at times that she doesn't often realise.

Tam(sin) spent most of her childhood growing up throughout the middle east and all the moving around in these different cultures has meant that she is comfortable walking straight into almost any room.

This coupled with her intelligence, knowledge about what is going on in the world (that she always downplays) and interest in people, means she is effortlessly engaging and charming with anyone she chooses to talk to.

Tamsin loves nothing more than spending time with the people close to her, particularly if they share her love of a nice glass of red and she is surprisingly brave in the kitchen thinking nothing of cooking some complicated meal that she only found out about earlier in the day - and it always seems to turn out well...maybe she's been stretching the truth on how long she's had those recipes now I think about it!

However, despite these homely skills she is as much a fan of a good party and is never afraid of getting the dancing going for the evening.
