I know most people on here will write that their friend is great and they don't know why he hasn't been snapped up yet, but with Tom, this really is the case. He rocks!

I blame his being single on a combination of working from home (he runs his own business) and being a bit rubbish about asking girls out. That's the only sphere in which he's rubbish though. He's very sociable and has lots of friends but I tend to see him at Christenings and first birthdays, as that's where a lot of our friends are at... He's not a barfly so won't meet girls that way, and there aren't many girls who heli-ski...

So I've been petitioning him to do something like this for a while, but he's resisted because he's one of those old-fashioned, romantic types who expects it just to happen... So that's the case for the defence dealt with. Why go on a date with Tom?

Well, Tom is a lovely, balanced mix of brawn (tall, strong, rides a motorbike, good with a drill, gets his kicks doing extreme skiing, scuba diving etc) and sensitivity (high EQ, happy to talk about anything, feelings included, a good listener, younger sister whom he dotes on, plays a bit of piano, total gentleman). He's also very funny, an amazing cook, and definitely ready to make the right girl very happy indeed...

He has a handful of very good female friends, which I think says quite a bit about him - and is the kind of person we all call upon to come and put up a curtain rail or lug boxes. Which, now I write it, is a bit of an odd selling point, but what I mean is that he's very loyal and reliable and a genuine good egg.

I'm not going to write about the kind of girl we'd like to see Tom with, as that would be daft - but adjectives like fun, clever, outdoorsy and caring come to mind. But I guess that probably applies to most people on this site... If you like the look of him then please add him to your favourites or send him an email, and if it gets to the dating stage, I guarantee you'll have a great night out!
