About him
I enjoy living in south-west London and spend as much time outdoors as possible. I particularly like strolling along the riverside and rowing on the Thames at weekends. I also enjoy messing about in boats in the Solent, and occasionally attending eventing / point to points in the country.
I am not from London but have fallen into metrosexual habits, becoming a keen ballet fan and even going to the theatre too. I like eating out but am not really a foodie, as tbh life is too short. In my spare time, I am a voracious reader of classic fiction. I enjoy a mixed diet of light romantic comedies and war films.
Before my recent stint in London, I lived in France, Spain and Africa for several years.

My ideal match is someone with similar interests and who knows what is important and what is unimportant in life. It would be great to spend time in London enjoying what the city has to offer. Preferably a ballet obsessive, or willing to become one...

You might be sceptical about finding someone with the survival skills of Bear Grylls, the legal wizardry of Kavanagh QC and the conversational flair of Parky here on MSF. Someone tall and handsome, yet one of the most unassuming people you'll meet. Yup, James won't be on here for long.
A lawyer by trade, James has spent the last few years pursuing a glittering academic career in France, Spain and Africa. He's now returned to London full time and resumed his perch as London's only legal eagle with the ability to bargain a souk stall into oblivion.
When he's not setting the legal world alight, he's always up for some fun in town, and invariably knows what's happening, whether it's a food festival in Regent's Park, an art exhibition or a new ballet at the Royal Opera House. He also loves the great outdoors and is easily persuaded to head out of the big smoke for a country walk, pub lunch and the occasional weekend camping trip (but don't worry, he likes nice hotels too!).
Ever the gentleman, James is guaranteed entertainment on an evening out, which could include anything from cheese sampling to ballet, archery to wine tasting - but wherever he takes you, he'll be the perfect companion with his wit, charisma and down-to-earth nature. He's one of those people who can fit in with any crowd whether he's wearing a DJ, white tie or caked in mud and wellies - and most importantly always has a smile on his face. There really are few better people with whom to burn the midnight oil or put the world to rights.
