Why am i writing this? Is it to promote my friend in order to have more couples out together? Well that too :) But mostly i want to disprove the notion that there are no more decent men left out there. Let's face it, the really worthwhile men, the ones that will strive to make you happy, are not the ones that will make a bold pass at you at a random place. They are the ones with romantic notions and respect for women. The ones that think their partner is not just another girl. If that's your view too then you are in good luck, Andreas is such a guy.

Maybe you think that a man like that is boring, unexciting or even lacks individuality. That might be generally true but not in the case of Andreas. He has a colourful personality, strong views that he is not afraid to state and many interests that set him apart from the many humdrum watch-football and drink-at-the-pub men in circulation.

I am not saying he is not without faults. He is too polite for his own good and all too forgiving of peoples digressions. In fact he comes across sometimes as overly zen, either too uninterested or a saint, both attributes that many people find distasteful these times. It is not an act! I have known this guy for 15 years now and i can vouch for that. In fact when sometimes i find myself giving my wife grief i think that he would probably have behaved in a more considerate and less high-maintenance manner.

Finally Andreas is a very active person. By that i do not mean he wants to scale the Everest and do bungee jumping over the Grand Canyon. That's pretty superfluous to my eyes and sometimes masks a deficit of identity. No, what i mean is that you won't have him glued to the sofa while you beg for a day out in the beautiful sun. I could enumerate all his activities and interests but that's besides the point. If you are looking for a companion in life, eager to share experiences and blissful moments with you then please take this guy of our hands :)
