I have a wide range of interests; sports (play tennis to a low standard), country walks, films, theatre and reading and I am always prepared to consider new things.
I have a relaxed and broad minded view of the world and I really believe we (the humans) could do things better - for example good public services rather then privitisation and profit being the incentive. I am green and concerned with the damage being done to the environment. I am tolerant and despair at bigotry and narrow mindedness.
Fortunately my job as a Trade Union official, whilst challenging, reflects my perspective on life and I spend my working time on the side of the underdog. I have a proven record of accomplishments as I commit to every task. I am socially conscious.
My three children are now adults and I am running down my (unpaid) taxi duties and at a stage in my life where I am ready to give relationships/friendships another go. To coin a phase - I need to get out more.
I am conscious that I still have words to play with so here are some trivial points. My favourite films are Trains, Cars and Automobiles, The Odd Couple and The Godfather, (but I do like many modern films) and my favourite book is To Kill A Mockingbird, which I have read several times. I read the Guardian. I am a good cook. I have a dog named Juno TSD, who is well trained and does numerous tricks; but sometimes refuses to return when off-lead.
