I'm well travelled, well read, interested in the world and what makes it tick. Recently finished an OU degree. I listen to Radio 4 with occasional dips intp Radios 2, 3 and 5. I'm left of centre. I'm passionate about the things I care about - the environment, friendship, love, community and doing right by people. Do as you would be done by. I'm tactile, fun, interesting and interested, empathetic, caring, loyal and honest. Love good food, cooking, wine. Enjoy a good walk, movies, theatre, conversation and music from AC/DC to Wagner. Simon is my best friend. He's warm, easy to be with, funny, kind and curious. He's very young for his age and really fun to do things with. He'd be great for someone who loves Nature, is unpretentious, quite sensual, and open-minded. He's unconventional and independent, but very loving indeed when he's in a relationship. He gives a huge amount and is romantic and caring. He has wide interests - he travels a lot, is an environmentalist (but not extremist, he just loves Nature), is a practising volunteer Samaritan and Mentor to troubled teens. He's comfortable with any type of person - he has no snobbery whatsoever. He's great with kids, they always adore him. He has lovely family members but is quite independent from them and happy in his own company.
I'm quite an anxious person, and Simon is the most calming and supportive friend I have. I can tell him anything and trust him totally. He is so loving and kind that he has on numerous occasions rescued me from despair. People who meet him always say they feel immediately relaxed around him.
