I knew the legend of Laurence before I knew the man himself. By which I mean soon after I moved to London I fell into a wonderful group of friends who all talked about this amazing friend they had who had been living in Australia - I didn't think the legend could live up to reality but he does! (those same friends would tell you I don't give easy compliments).

Yes gentlemen he really is a catch.

Laurence is intelligent, successful, generous and a wonderful friend. He has a huge range of interests and is always willing to learn new things, visit a new place (he is my first choice for travel companion), go out for a quiet drinks or a wacky crazy evening. He is thoughtful and at first can be a bit reserved but you will quickly find out that there is a brilliant mischievous side of him.

He is close to his family and is a favourite uncle to two adoring nieces. He works hard, too hard in my opinion, doing something to do with finance but is so not a conceited city boy. On top of all that he is good looking without knowing it.

Now I know you are thinking this guy sound too good to be true and you are right - there are faults - he likes football. He is in fact a Spurs fan which I understand is a particularly tragic characteristic.

Kind of guy I think would suit Laurence... hmm ...someone who is kind, intelligent and likes to get out and do things, a mix of quietly confident, understated and fun loving. Oh and probably likes football or at least can put up with it!
