About her
I like to keep active, live life to the full and try to make the most of every opportunity. I especially enjoy the outdoors and am a member of a walking group. I particularly like walks by the sea, river or canal. I also enjoy musicals and am a member of an amateur dramatics group. This year I had a chorus part in Chitty Chiity Bang Bang. I'm never going to make the X factor but enjoy it! I enjoy catching up with friends in a café preferably with a nice cake or going out for dinner at new restaurant - there always seems to be a new one to try. If you have any recommendations I'd love to know. Travel is a real passion of mine and I enjoy meeting the local people, exploring new places and testing out my language skills! Recently I have been dog sledding in Lapland with my sister who was visiting from Australia which was great fun. I like animals, particularly dogs, but my lifestyle makes having a pet impractical just now. I am quite sporty and play tennis and also swim at the local gym. It would be great to meet someone like minded.
I worked in marketing for 11 years which involved living briefly in Switzerland and also for a few years in Amsterdam. I changed careers and am now working in law and have been settled in Birmingham for the last few years. I'm looking for that special someone in my life. Is it you?

I've known Susie for all of my working life! No matter where our lives have taken us, we've stayed in touch and now we live closer together are lucky enough to see each other more. Our first job together was marketing confectionery, so what better way to describe Susie than as my favourite chocolates; Quality Street - traditional in her values, yet not afraid to embrace change, classy, confident and full of variety.
So a little more about Susie...She is one of the most loyal people I know and very organised. She's always coming up with ideas for places to go or restaurants to try out and pushes me to try new things all the time. Life is never boring with Susie around. She's full of energy and always seems to be doing something to keep busy whether that be going for a long walk, practicing for her part in an amateur theatre group, going for a swim or another exciting holiday... I can hardly keep up! There's no such thing as a quick coffee when meeting with Susie as we have so much to talk about!
Susie has lived in some exciting places (Amsterdam has to be the best!) and I've visited her in all but one of them. But now Susie has settled down in Birmingham and changed her career so has exciting new challenges, but also more time for that special someone who has time for her.
