About her
I'm pretty organised, definitely ruled more by the head than the heart, but still a romantic deep down. It would be great to meet someone who shares my old-fashioned values, likes doing things in the open air (especially if they involve dog walks, gardens or skiing!) with the occasional dash of culture thrown in. Although I now live on the Kent/Sussex border, I'm originally from Cheshire, so an expatriated Northerner - but as a linguist I've lived in France and Germany too and still hanker after my dream ski chalet in the Alp - one of these days...
Honesty and reliability are a must in a potential partner, as is a keen sense of humour and the ability to take me on at word games! Hard to define what I'm looking for, really, but I expect I'll know when I find it - or it finds me.

I've known Claire since we were students - in takes a lot to maintain a relationship 35+ years but we're never short of topics of conversation or laughter. Claire is that rare being - doesn't mind bring gently teased, and can laugh at herself. She is a night owl. She doesn't suffer fools gladly. She is chatty. She is competitive. She's fun / but woe betide if you don't like dogs!

Claire is a whizz in the kitchen and hosts wonderful dinner parties (often complimented by a good board game!). She has two lovely dogs who she adores and who often accompany her to her allotment or in her garden. Claire has lots of hobbies with tennis, skiing, yoga, aero dance and loves her holidays (who doesn't?!). Claire's looking for someone similar minded to join in with her active lifestyle.
