About him
I'm quite reserved, with a dry, occasionally dark sense of humour. I am accidentally witty, and wish I could do it on command. I've a tendency to be very focussed on those things I am interested in. One thing I've noticed after thinking about it is that I tend to be very loyal, once someone has passed a certain point.
I've been diagnosed with autism, which can make life interesting on occasions, but I've managed to get through most of my life without knowing I had it so I can obviously cope :-).
I like to know what is true and what is not, and don't like saying untrue things.
I'm a curious mix of the old and new. In terms of clothes I like to wear, I tend to be an 80's guy- 17 or 1880's, that is. On the other hand, I'm also very much into such modern contrivances as computers.
I'm pretty introverted, but I have excellent manners and I'm generally relaxed. I love getting to know people and understanding them.
I am very into tabletop roleplaying and live-roleplaying, which are both forms of improvisational theatre with varying fantasical elements (varies from game to game). It's a very imaginative hobby, and a lot of my current social circle is based around it. I'm always happy to introduce new people to it- if they want to, clearly, but I also enjoy going out and socialising independent of that. I'm a voracious reader, and can generally be found with something to read nearby if I'm not out socialising. And sometimes even if I am.
I'm also very much into martial arts, and was studying Wing Chun kung fu. One day, I'd really like to study Capoeira- it looks awesome, and very different from the various styles I've practised in the past or currently.
Anything else, just ask! I'm a good conversationalist and I'm often pootling about on the internet, so I'm always happy to strike up a conversation about anything. Even random silliness!

Trust and communication are important, and a recognition that there are times I can't deal with people.
Given my lack of experience, it's hard to say what would make things work, so a willingness to try and find out would probably help!
A lot of my hobby time is spent doing roleplaying games, so liking them would help, or at least being tolerant.
Racism, sexism and bigotry of any form are dealbreakers.
