About him
I think my friends would describe me as genuine, funny and laidback.
I'm a Yorkshire man of simple pleasures, looking for someone to share all that life has to throw at us.
I'm sincere, warm-hearted and don't take things too seriously. An eternal optimist, I'm a firm believer in soulmates and finding "the one".
I'm not at all "a player" and do not seek a fling or a one-night stand - I am here to find a lasting relationship.
My likes are music, film, comedy - watching and performing, days out, city breaks, my family, friends and my wonderful godchildren.
My dislikes are bad manners, drivers who don't indicate and seafood.
For fun I love to spend time with my best mate and my goddaughter and son, impromptu drives out into the country, and singing really badly to my iPod. I enjoy TV series (currently blitzing my way through Peaky Blinders), playing guitar and keeping up to speed with football and motorsport.
My outlook on life is an upbeat one. Like I said, I'm an optimist, and always look on the bright side of things. We're only here once!
About his ideal match
I am not fussy when it comes to looks, hair colour, or height etc. I'm very much of the opinion that everyone is different and unique in their own way, and that's what makes them special. Sorry if that sounds too soppy, but it's what I believe!
What I'm looking for in my ideal match is definitely someone with a sense of humour, who can laugh at themselves and others. Someone who I feel would make a good mum, and someone, most of all, that I feel that special connection with.
What I think would make our relationship work would be a mutual respect of each others' likes and interests, the ability to laugh and enjoy each others' company yet at the same time enjoy and appreciate our own space.
I would love to go on city breaks and weekends away with my partner, and go on adventures both in this country and abroad.
What I would consider a deal-breaker would be heavy smoking, bad manners, immaturity and downright rudeness.

I met Colin back in college and we got on like a house on fire ever since. As genuine as people come, a gentlemen in his own right with a sense of humour that'll bring you laughs for days (good and bad jokes, some are really bad!)
I'd recommend getting to know him as I don't think you'll be let down or disappointed. He's a loyal person with a heart of gold and he'll make someone a very good partner. Not a bad cook either, makes a good bolognese.
Col's easy to get along with, considerate and I always know I could rely on him. A helping hand whenever I need one. He's loyal and kindhearted, always putting others before himself.
