Hello!
I'm open and friendly with a zest for London life. Always seeking out new experiences and opportunities to discover, enjoy and expand my horizons. I'm easy to get on with and enjoy being social, with an interest in peoples stories, the ups and the downs. I consider myself very thoughtful and caring, have a youthful outlook on life and have never ceased to be curious..
I'm a Lancashire lass who came to Hackney in the 70's and fell in love with it's diversity, culture and lifestyle. I've worked as a lecturer in further and higher education and I am also a qualified counsellor with a small private practice.
I have two grown up children who I'm close with and one lovely grandchild (and another one on the way!).
Travelling inside and outside the UK visiting friends and family is really important to me as I love the countryside and immersing myself in other cultures.
The creative arts have always been important in my life which takes me to theatres, museums, galleries and concerts regularly. I have been a member of The Hackney Singers, a large community choir for over 20 years, singing alto in the great works.
